Eva, Violin Teacher
Welcome! I’m Eva, violin teacher and founder of La Musique Autrement. I work with students of all ages, at my home or at yours, in Le Pecq, Le Vésinet and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Trained at the Conservatoire de Versailles, I believe in a more personal approach to teaching, built around each student — as I learned while teaching in London.
What matters most to me is the joy of playing: I help each student learn the violin without tension, at their own pace.
Thirty Years with Music
My relationship with music began thirty years ago, and I’ve been teaching it for twenty. I’ve played with the Jeune Philharmonique de Seine-Saint-Denis, the Orchestre de Versailles and the London Oratory Orchestra — an experience that shapes every lesson I give.
Writing and Composing
I also write and compose my own songs. It’s this practice that made me understand the real usefulness of music theory, beyond simply being able to read sheet music, and that’s why I also offer songwriting workshops.
My Training
- 30 years of musical experience, including 20 years of teaching
- Alexander Technique for musicians
